As a registered Charity we rely wholly on the giving of the congregation to fund the work of the church. Furthermore, as a registered Charity we must submit our accounts each year to OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator). You can view their report on the finances of the church on line at http://www.oscr.org.uk/CharityIndexDetails.aspx?id=SC014816 |

To support the work of the church we welcome gifts such as legacies. No matter how small every penny makes a difference. Legacies can be made with specific conditions for example to be used for the new building project, or youth work, or any issue close to the heart of the benefactor. |

To support out ambitious building project we have set up an on-line giving facility through Just Giving, this is a safe and secure method of making a financial contribution to the project and you will have the opportunity to make the donation subject to Gift Aid. This means that for every £1 given we can claim back from the tax man a set percentage (at the moment this is around 25p in the £, but does change from time to time with the tax laws). Only tax payers can make use of this facility but once you have ticked the boxes there is nothing left to do - we do the rest. We would point out that we have to pay a service fee of 10% to just giving and we hope you will be in a position to take this into account when coming to a decision about your donation. |
